| The Irish Setter Club of Southern California was established in 1929 making it the oldest Irish Setter club in California. We have members who are active in all venues; Conformation shows, Obedience, Field, Agility, and Rescue. We hold two Independent Specialties each year which include Sweepstakes and Obedience. We also hold Sweepstakes and Supported Entries at all-breed shows each year and from time to time we sponsor a Field Trial. We hold several General Membership meetings each year and you can see those on the Calendar of Events page. We have members who are actively breeding and we also have members who are active in Irish Setter Rescue. We always welcome new members, so if you are interested in joining the club, please visit the Membership Info. page and complete a membership application.
